The Adult Education Center (Espoon työväenopisto) offers Finnish and Swedish courses. These courses are open to everyone over the age of 16. We also arrange family courses where an adult can bring a child along to the class. You can practice your Finnish during these courses and get to know other Espoo residents.

Here you can get an idea of our current research and ongoing projects. Sfi 3 includes the study courses C and D, which are geared toward pupils with college education that are seeking further studies. As of 2007, according to the National Center for SFI and Sweden as Another Speech (NC) and the Institute for Sweden as Another Speech (ISA), a total of 137 foreign languages were spoken as mother tongues by students within the Swedish for immigrants program. The course is worth 5-12 credits, and the content is the same as in the Full stack course held at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Helsinki in Spring 2020.
